Position Overview:
The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing contractor relationships, coordinating financial transactions, and overseeing the accounts receivable process. This role requires strong experience with QuickBooks Online, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial & Accounting Operations
- Manage invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and accurate financial records.
- Oversee contractor and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process and reconcile transactions using QuickBooks Online.
- Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up on late payments, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Assist in financial reporting and forecasting to support business decision-making.
- Contractor & Vendor Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for independent contractors and financial partners.
- Ensure contractor agreements are up to date and payments are processed efficiently.
- Track contractor hours, expenses, and payments while ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
- Operational Support & Process Improvement
- Develop and implement efficient processes for managing financial transactions and contractor relations.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and financial transparency.
- Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements in financial and operational workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in operations, accounting, or finance management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required).
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, invoicing, and purchase order processes.
- Experience managing independent contractors and vendor relationships.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace.
- Experience in the security, technology, or telecommunications industry is a plus.
